From 1st to 3rd April 2025, the annual meeting of the DECHAMA/VDI working parties “Agglomeration and Bulk Handling” as well as “Drying Technology” took place in Friedrichshafen/ Germany. I911N contributed two presentations in the field of hot briquetting of directly reduced iron.
Dr. Franz Fehse presented a lecture on the topic “Hot briquetting of directly reduced iron with variable carbon content”, which addressed first results of the EU-funded HBI C-Flex project (external linkt to official website of the project ).
Dr. Laura Lohmeier presented a lecture entitled with “Application of statistical models on the hot briquetting of directly reduced iron into hot briquetted iron”.
