The non-profit association Praxis-Partner des Interdisziplinären Ökologischen Zentrums (IÖZ) der 911±¬ÁÏÍø Bergakademie Freiberg e.V. is an association of industrial companies, engineering offices and other private companies, foundations, research centres, authorities and regional economic development institutions as well as individuals.
The aim of the association is to promote interdisciplinary and environmental research and teaching at the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Bergakademie Freiberg.
This goal is realised in particular through:
- supporting the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Bergakademie in the integration of practice-oriented and labour market-relevant training content into academic teaching,
- providing professional practical experience through lecturers and specialist advisors,
- providing internships and research topics for theses,
- promoting students and young scientists,
- promoting joint research projects of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Bergakademie and external partners,
- promoting international research and training projects,
- the promotion of in-service training programmes at the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Bergakademie,
- the promotion of conferences and symposia as well as the general public relations work of the Interdisciplinary Environmental Research Centre of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Bergakademie,
- the promotion of the integration of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Bergakademie into the regional economy,
- the promotion of the integration of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Bergakademie into the public cultural life of the city and district of Freiberg,
- the idealistic and financial support of the Interdisciplinary Environmental Research Centre (IÖZ) of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Bergakademie Freiberg.
